Welcome to our cottage "De Kleine Stern" where we have everything ready for a pleasant stay. A quiet cottage with private entrance. Where peace and privacy is important. The right place for a stay along the beach, a nice bike or a big canoe trip. 200 meters of beach, dunes and sea. Near cycling, hiking and canoe routes. Ground floor: kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room with lounge dining area, radio, TV, Wifi. Two bedrooms with a total of 4 single beds.

’t Noorder Sandt is located close to the adventurous Duinvliet hiking, canoeing, cycling and horse-riding route. So rent a canoe, take your picnic basket and go! Head toward Julianadorp or Den Helder aan Zee, along the colourful flower bulb fields and right through lovely nature areas.

With a preparation time of about 8 hours, this salmon is prepared in a traditional Finnish way. The specific taste is obtained by different types of brine and by the use of mainly domestic oak. The salmon smokehouse is located at the entrance of Manege Noot on Zwarteweg nr 4, Callantsoog. Opening days are on Friday and Saturday. Is the flag flying? Then there's fish! Agrarian Museum Knowing and Working is located in a large barn. You're looking back in time. What you can see here is not just about the agricultural sector. It shows how people lived before. Klaas and Jeanette Hoornsman brought together an extensive collection of old tools, old objects, old clothes, etc.

KopGroep Bibiotheken (Libraries) has three branches in Den Helder and Julianadorp and a service point in De Schooten.

In our former farmhouse, since early 1900, a part has been made into a Bed & Breakfast. Where cows and horses used to be housed, we now have two modern rooms with a living room, whilst also having preserved some of the old farm elements. The appartment has its own entry on the rear of the farm. Bicycles or motorcycles can be stored inside. For e-bikes there is a charging point. We have expanded our B&B with a home-made ''pipowagen''. It's situated at a nice playfield for kid's, behind the B&B. There is a trampoline along with swings.

Beach entrance Falga is a quite entrance with a wide and white beach. The souther part of the beach, between pole 4.09 and pole 5, is the nudist beach. You can walk and cycle in the surrounding dune area. In the spring (May) you have a spectacular overview of the blooming bulb fields.

In addition to our campsite, we also have a canoe rental located on the canoe route in Julianadorp. Our canoes are suitable for young and old, experienced and inexperienced. The campsite’s canoes can be found on the Van Foreestweg, at the start of the canoe route in Julianadorp. Life jackets for children are available at the reception.

We sell many Dutch cheeses at competitive prices and various foreign cheeses, boerenpondjes and nice gift packages. Come see and taste!
