Land van Fluwel opens first Sunflower Maze in the Kop van Noord-Holland
Dare to get lost without losing each other!
For months, adventurers have been watching the 20,000+ sunflower seeds grow into green stems that grow higher and higher from the Barefoot Path. Now that the first sunflowers are in bloom, Land van Fluwel officially opens the brand new maze with Alderman Simco Kruijer. The festive opening will take place on 27 August at 3:00 PM and adventurers will be the first to take on the challenge. The first 100 families will be treated to a free bag of daffodils!
This spectacle was realized in collaboration with OFS Schagen, LTO Noord and KAVB. Together we try to bring the farmer and their important work to the attention in a positive way.
There is also a game to play in this maze. At the entrance you can pick up a playing card and with the answer you have a chance to win free pancakes!
The Zonnebloem Doolhof is part of the adventure paradise and is open every day the park is open (September and October Wednesday to Sunday). There are no additional costs. Check the opening hours at www.landvanfluwel.nl.
