During the Easter weekend, Kwekerij Siem Munster organizes a unique Tulip Excursion where you discover the whole story behind the tulip. Let yourself be carried away by the world of blooming tulips, biodiversity and farmland during this special experience.
What can you expect?
The excursion starts with a reception with coffee, tea and a petit four at the nursery. Tulip grower Sandra Munster tells in a fascinating presentation everything about the production process of the tulip – from bulb to flower. Then she takes you on a walk of approx. 3 km over the farm path along bird food fields, created to improve biodiversity in the region.
Arriving at the tulip field, you will be given an explanation of the different tulip varieties, the planting process and surprising facts about cultivation and irrigation. On the way, you will cross the canal with a special pedestrian ferry – an adventure in itself!
