During Nazomeren in Niedorp, residents, artists, and organizations in the villages of the former Niedorp open their doors for an atmospheric and surprising late summer event. In Winkel, Lutjewinkel, Moerbeek, ‘t Veld, Zijdewind, Nieuwe Niedorp, Oude Niedorp, Haringhuizen, Kolhorn, and Barsingerhorn, among others, you can enjoy a varied range of activities.
Scattered throughout the villages, you will find gardens full of flowers, small exhibitions, musical performances, photography, museums, and other creative initiatives. At many locations, you can walk in, look around, and strike up a conversation with the participants. The locations are recognizable by the special late summer flag and are listed on the website and in the flyer available from participants.
In 2025, no fewer than 80 locations participated with a total of around 130 activities. 2026 also promises to be another inspiring weekend full of encounters, creativity, and a summery atmosphere. Admission is free for everyone.
