On Sunday, December 13, 2026, TAV80 is organising the annual Snertloop in ’t Veld. The event brings together nearly 1,000 walkers, runners, and supporters for a sporty day in the village and the surrounding polder.

Walkers can choose from various distances through ’t Veld and the surrounding area. For runners, there are competitive races of 5, 10, and 16.1 kilometres on a paved course. The start and finish are located on the running track of Sportcomplex VZV.

Afterwards, every participant will receive a bucket of traditionally prepared snert from poultry company Thaam Dam from Hoogwoud. There is an opportunity to chat afterwards in Sportcafé de Kogge.

For the running distances, a reduced registration fee applies until 23:59 on October 31, 2026, of € 12.50 for the 5 kilometres and € 17.50 for the 10 and 16.1 kilometres. From November 1, the rates will be € 15.00 for the 5 kilometres and € 20.00 for the 10 and 16.1 kilometres.

Registration closes on Thursday, December 3, 2026, at 23:59, or earlier if the event is sold out.
