During the autumn holidays, Museum Vreeburg opens its doors especially for young visitors during its annual children’s afternoon. Children up to 12 can enjoy authentic traditional Dutch games like shuffleboard, cookie-biting, pin the tail on the donkey, and paper folding. They can also try their hand at historical tools, such as a hand sewing machine, and discover how people used to work and play.
The museum’s atmosphere exudes a nostalgic sense of the past, and it promises to be an afternoon full of laughter, discovery, and fun. Parents can, of course, watch or participate, while the children enjoy a playful journey into the past. A fun and educational activity for the whole family!
