Levensloop Kamerkoor Zestien Wad was founded on Vlieland in 2001 as a project choir in which experienced amateur singers from all over the Netherlands combine their voices for one or two projects per year. The choir usually chooses a program of classical works, but it also regularly ventures into jazz, close harmony, and arrangements of pop songs. All these styles can be heard in this program.
Conductor since the founding, Wim van Herk is not only a highly experienced choir and orchestra conductor and pianist, but he also enjoys playing, conducting, and arranging light music.
