Marjolein Meijers’ Familieband – Tijdloos is a varied music program in which music, humor, and personal stories come together. The program features beautiful songs and original lyrics that can be relatable, moving, and comical at the same time.
The trio takes the audience on a musical journey through various styles and traditions. From captivating Irish melodies to energetic Cajun rhythms, the music is performed with great enthusiasm and craftsmanship. The combination of sparkling stories, beautiful lyrics, and versatile instruments makes for a warm and accessible performance.
De Familieband consists of Walter Kuipers on violin, mandolin, bouzouki, and Flemish bagpipes, Onno Kuipers on accordion, concertina, and guitar, and Marjolein Meijers on vocals, double bass, guitar, and banjo. Together, they present a program in which music is played straight from the heart, with room for both a smile and a tear.
The concert takes place on March 21, 2027, in the Lucaskerk in Winkel and lasts from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Admission is €20 per person.
