Tulip Tours 2026
Step back in time and experience West Friesland in a special way during one of our Tulip Tours on:
April 11 – April 12 – April 18 – April 19 – April 25.
On this unique tour, you’ll climb aboard a WWII army truck and be taken past the region’s colorful tulip fields and impressive World War II monuments. Driving along charming country lanes, you’ll enjoy the expansive landscape of West Friesland in full bloom. Along the way, you’ll stop at a tulip field, where you’ll learn the story behind tulips and tulip cultivation.
We’ll also visit the IJsselmeerdijk, the site of a plane crash during World War II. At each monument, a volunteer will tell the story behind it.
The tour lasts 2 hours and costs €25 per person. We start at 2:00 PM.
