In the middle of the wooded recreation area Mariëndal lies De KlimVallei! In our Eco-Climbing Park you climb between the tops of the trees, with challenging obstacles at a height of 4 to 8 meters. These attractions ensure that De KlimVallei offers everyone from young to old a fun challenge. Because you are always between the trees, you feel like a real Tarzan, swinging from tree to tree. The course consists of four rounds with different difficulty categories that guarantee 2 hours of climbing fun. Do you dare!?

Fort Dirksz Admiraal was built in 1812-1813 as the middle fort in the Stelling van Den Helder. The fort is named after the former mayor of Monnickendam, Cornelis Dirkszoon, who was admiral of the North Holland fleet during the Eighty Years' War. In an advanced position, in what was then still a swamp area, both Fort Oostoever and Fort Erfprins could be protected from this fort. During the Second World War, the German occupier made use of the fort by building an anti-aircraft battery on it. This is still completely present. WSC Breewijd is the first marina on your right when you enter Den Helder. We are a small and easygoing harbor that breathes relaxation and quiet. Because of this, we actually get a lot of visitors! For a small fee you can enter our harbor, where you can pretty much do what you want (within reason ofcourse). Your safety has also been thought of, the harbor comes equipped with a lockable fence where you get a key for. The entire harbor is 2,50 meter deep, and therefore accessible by many. The peirs come equipped with a 16 ampère 220 volt connection.

Camping Duinhoeve is located between Julianadorp and Den Helder. The campsite is situated about 2 kilometers from beach. We specifically focus us on people who go on holiday without children. Our camping pitches are very spacious, surrounded by green hedges. With the comfort of a 6 amp electricity connection and a good Wi-Fi connection you can completely enjoy your holiday.
