During these fun picking days, you can pick your own Wellant apples from the orchard on Ooievaarsweg in Nieuwe Niedorp. Beforehand, you can stroll through the pear orchard and perhaps find a few juicy pears to pick. Bring your own bag, crate, or box—it will be weighed first at the farm shop, and you can pay for your picked apples afterward for just €1.50 per kilo.
