On Saturday 28 June, Walking Sports Association FLAL is organising an impressive walking tour from the “Viking ship” in Den Oever. Choose 25 or 35 kilometres and explore the centuries-old landscape of the former island of Wieringen. The tour takes you past the De Hoop mill, historic villages, the special harbour dike and the impressive Robbenoordbos. Along the way, you will pass places with a rich history, such as the coupure in Den Oever and gauge houses from the time of the Zuiderzee works.
The walk can only be registered on the day itself. Participation costs €5.00 for FLAL members, €6.00 for KWbN members and €7.00 for non-members. The starting point is the characteristic Viking ship in Den Oever. Be surprised by nature, culture and the traces of the Vikings during this unique walk on Wieringen!
