Lichtjesloop in de Japanse Tuin

Lichtjesloop in de Japanse Tuin

In December, the Japanese garden at Hortus Overzee transforms into a softly lit winter wonderland. During the Lichtjesloop (Light Walk), you’ll wander peacefully along winding paths, illuminated by atmospheric lanterns, and past tranquil water features. It’s a short, peaceful walk, just the right amount of time to clear your head and warm up in the light around you.

Along the way, you’ll discover small details of the garden that are even more beautiful in the dark. The lights guide you past bridges, bamboo, and quiet corners where you naturally slow down. A pleasant evening break in the darkest weeks of the year.

Suitable for all ages. The route is partially unpaved and not accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, or walkers.
