Step out of the daily hustle and bustle and dive into the imaginative world of Kees Vlietman’s KIJKkastjes. From 1 May to 13 June 2025, his unique exhibition can be admired at IJssalon Aris Laan in Den Helder. Each cabinet tells its own story, constructed from meticulously placed details, colours and figures. These miniature worlds are funny, moving or simply downright fascinating – and invite you to look again and again.
The cabinets are not only works of art in themselves, but also a playful view of the world in miniature. Perfect to combine with a delicious ice cream, because the exhibition can be viewed for free during the opening hours of the ice cream parlor. A surprising cultural stopover in the middle of the city!
