On Wednesday, January 1, 2026, it’s time again: the annual Dorper New Year’s Dive in Julianadorp, organized by the Julianadorp Cultural Association. Participants will gather around 11:30 AM for registration and a warm-up at beach access point Paal 6 (near Billy Bob’s restaurant). The dive itself will begin promptly at 1:00 PM in the North Sea.
Afterwards, there will be hot chocolate for the daring divers and those celebrating a jubilee (for example, their 10th, 25th or 40th dive) can pick up a special souvenir.
All ages are welcome, although children under 12 are required to be accompanied. First aid and rescue services are present for added safety.
