Trio 258 consists of pianist Lestari Scholtes, violinist Eduardo Paredes Crespo, and cellist Leonard Besseling – three passionate musicians with a rich history of chamber music at home and abroad. Their shared passion for chamber music continually drives them to the heart of the music and to the audience.
In their playing, they explore the boundaries of intimacy and expression. Their programs range from classical masters like Haydn to contemporary composers like Fazil Say, with a warm predilection for the Romantic piano trio repertoire. A musical journey full of depth, emotion, and connection – in the atmospheric setting of St. Luke’s Church.
